Hey all,
The Matsushita 14" just wont come back up after a cap kit to fix some other problems and I have read on the boards here that these things just blow anyway. So, I want to swap it out with a 13" G07 I have laying around. Is this a straight swap other than the connectors or do I need an inverter board for this?

Thanks,
Pat

IIRC, my Turbo mini had a 100V monitor in it. Check the voltage output of your power supply to the monitor and make sure that it is enough to power a normal 115-120V American monitor.

I recently picked up a non-working Turbo mini project and it has a G07 FBO in it. I don't know if it ever worked with the G07 in there.
I'm curious if you ended up trying the monitor swap and , if so, did it work for you?

Sorry - i never did the swap. I parted it out long ago.

I forget does that transformer output an isolated 100v?

My buddy and I were working on just about the same thing, and I was going to toss in a mspacman iso transformer for a k4800 which requires an isolated line.

School me?

Nice! Hooray for another Turbo alive and kicking! I do find the Midway sticker on the tube funny.
