I've always been looking for one of these when I saw that SEGA did had something equal to that of a Nintendo Playchoice System. Never had the name for it either until now....

Anyways this one popped up on Ebay

Kinda sucks that its all the way Connecticut.........

Whats ya'lls experience or opinions on this cabinet? I know they play just like regular old genesis games, although the cartridges are not interchangeable.

And what about the Mega Play?

That's pretty awesome, I had no idea the Mega Tech even existed. If it weren't so far away I'd love to get my hands on one of those.

"Reconditioned" is what they say....

Yeah right! Seriously if its working thats one thing, but that cabinet is not reconditoned, it has more wear and scratches on it then what your led to believe. The proof is in their pictures, just blow the things up and you can see it. No monitor bezel, scratched plexi and glass, work control panels.....and the monitors don't look that good either. $650 is a bit pricey for that sucker, rarity does not determine value....but if your gonna charge $650 you might as well cap the monitors, clean or replace the plexi, get a new bezel, and re-do the paint job...........

I live in the UK and these are very common. I have one and it's amazing, 8 Megadrive games at a time. So you can switch between Streets of Rage, Sonic and Tetris with ease.
I'd say go for it :)
