Looks like I have the vertical collapse. I ordered all the parts from the repair guide. Just wondering if anyone has any tips. I know the fun part is going to finding all parts to test and replace. I also ordered a cap kit. Fingers crossed it will work. Sucks too worked a week ago.

Great guide has helped me. And looks like some one updated the cap you said to update C523. I'm hoping that's the only problem. Should have the cap kit tomorrow so I can finish the job.

Would hooking up this pair of red wires to 120v fix it ?

Yes, those two red wires need power in order for the degauss circuit to work. There should be a mating connector somewhere for it to plug into.

Thanks. Looking like it had a button on the bottom of the cocktail but it has been all cut out. I tried to make a quick fix cut wire and taped one side to neutral and put a switch on the 120 but when I push the switch nothing happens.

Okay what am I missing how do I adjust H size? It's just a hair too big cuts off how many lives I have.

Looks like the ferrite slug is missing from your horizontal size (a.k.a. width) coil.

Do you have a junked Electrohome G07 width coil you could steal the ferrite slug from? I believe they have the same thread size as your coil.
