I see several variations of these when I do an internet search. What I do know is that it is a Japanese copy of a Mills (some sources say Mills had Sega build some parts for them), so it may be an authorized copy. Most show up with Alfred E. Newman from Mad Magazine on the top and on the reels, although I've heard those sold in the US were blocked by copyright laws. Mine does not have any association with Alfred and I didn't realize the connection with Mad Magazine until I did some searching. I believe it was made sometime around 1968-69, it's purely mechanical with some lights. This one takes nickels. Anyone know how common or uncommon these are? Any idea of value? Any additional info? For those who complain they want a real slot and not a Japanese one, how do you feel about this, it's both real and Japanese!
