I'm gonna go get one tomorrow. The asking price is 250. As long as the cab isn't beat to hell and it actually works, I'm buying it.

Yeah, I know the game sucks, but what the hell. This is the best deal I've seen in my 2 months in the hobby. Might get a little WOW factor for my 3 game arcade room. Thats enough for me.

My question is, once the parts are found, is it easy to convert back to Time Traveler? Yeah, that game sucked ass too, but I at least want the option.

Thanks

That's a pretty good price for that if it's in decent shape. That game is all about the wow factor, as you noted. It's funny, even though I know the game sucks, I find myself wanting one, too.

Anyway, I would think the swap back to Time Traveler would be simple - providing you can come up with the disc, that is.

I'll be going to get it in a few hours. And yes, I will post pics.

Thanks for the info!

A few pics

Not in too bad of shape. Being the moron that I am and half drunk, last night I was putting part of the machine on a dolly when the very top of the "playfield" fell off, fell backward, and hit the plastic mirror and took a chunk out of it. After cussing loud enough to make my neighbors come over. I finally got it upstairs and assembled. Thank god it didn't affect the oh so wonderful gameplay or image.

Wow, that thing is in fantastic shape, and it works too?
You got a great deal, it is big but looks like you found a nice spot for it.:)
Congratulations on the find.:D

I'm wondering what to do about the bangs and knicks on it. They used some kind of plastic overlay. I'm thinking some high gloss enamel to hide the blemishes.

I also can't figure out how to move the "menu" There is a test button inside the cab with 2 volume controls. When you press test the menu comes up but there is no way to move to select the options. The controls won't move it. It does say something about a service button but I can't find it. I have a feeling it was removed :(

It looks good, maybe for touch up you could use autobody glazing putty or bondo and Krylon Fusion paint for plastic. I've had pretty good results on Atari sideart edges with it.
