Do you like it? I can't decide if it's a keeper or not yet.

Upright or sit down version? I have always thought the game to be to difficult even with the dips set on easy. Had a chance to get one a block from me for $100 but just could'nt bring myself to do it though. Still can be considered one of the greats from the mid 80's IMO.

It's cool, especially 'cause they can be had for pretty cheap. If I got one, I would stare at it in appreciation more than playing it though.

I picked up an UR for $100 just because it was a good deal. Now, I really like the game and I'm glad I bought it. It has good appeal with the unique controls, and it adds variety to your arcade.

I think it's a keeper I pumped a lot of quarters into that thing before I could figure out how to finish it. If you are looking to move it out I may be interested.

The game would look great next to an upright Pole Position! Traded mine, wished I kept it.

By the way the Hang On cab is much easier to move around/haul than a Super Hang on cab. I hated moving the Super cab around.

I have a Hang-On mini and it's great! Movement is a snap, it is a light cab. The only thing that needed adjustment was the acceleration pot. Sega's Nanano (sp?) monitors are some of the best, mine has never been capped and it looks great.

It has a place in my arcade as a 100% pure against-the-clock racer. It doesn't have the length or music of Super Hang On, but it does deserve it's place next to Space Harrier as one of the earliest games that led to Sega's late 80's and up arcade dominance (up until the present day give or take). For me it set up the stage for the Sega's vehicle games: Afterburner, Thunderblade, Outrun, Super Hang-On, etc... If you grew up with the pack-in game of Hang-On/Safari Hunt on the Sega Master System, it is also a no-brainer buy (good memories).

Keeper!

I think I've had mine for 3 years now and nearly every morning it's coffee and at least 30 minutes of riding the bike.

I love the game. Some days I whizz right to the finish line like it's nothing, other days, the cpu gets rough with loads of pushing and sending a ton of riders in your way from nowhere.

Had it on easy and after a bit just finished too many races, set it to default and lI ike it so much better.

The only thing I hate about the game is no HS save.

You probably talked me into keeping it. I also thought it would be nice next to my Pole Position....if I ever get that working. Also kids really like driving games and don't really care about Donkey Kong.

The kids like mine. Bike moves without throttle so it's good for the small kids (unlike OutRun where I have to stand there with my foot on the gas for them to play).

I got that and OutRun sitting next to each other and Hang-On gets way more play.
