Bump because I'm curious if anyone has run into this issue before? (and I'm probably the one that's going to be looking at this...)
Seems odd that it works in the test mode and not in the game. What's different between the two of them? I'd think the circuitry would be the same... maybe a ROM or RAM issue? Can't really see it but I dunno...
Yeah what a rip off. I paid $100 for this and it only worked like 8 months or something
Jeff you better get over here and make good on this!!!
I really have not had a change to look at it further, I was stumped at the fact it worked in test mode buy not when the game was running and figured it was something simple that someone else might have seen before.. Can someone tell me, in test mode, when the wheel is centered what should the reading be? Cause it's not zero.. It zeros out when you turn it to the side.
Now I want to look at this better but now that we've expanded it's in the other room and I'm here alone... And some guy's PC10 is in the way of where I can put it if I want to bring it in here...
Stopped in today for a minute and see that all the measurements(throttle, brake, and steering) all have a really low range... almost like maybe a ground or resistor pack or something has changed their working ranges. Going to stop back when I get some time with the schematic to see what's in common with them all.
And yeah... you definitely got taken... $100 is such a ripoff!
