Sega Gremlin Turbo Mini Part out (Washington State)

Been working on getting this thing working, but it seems I can't get the parts I need at a price I can afford. On top of that, the monitor just went out, so it's becoming more than I can afford right now. All proceeds will go to help fix my Asteroids mini, and get it running properly.

So, if you need anything off it, please let me know.

It has two complete board sets, both of which have issues. One works for the most part, but has glitches, and the LED score board is flakey with it. The other shows garbage.

The optical board appears to be broken, as the steering does not work.

I desperately need the neckboard off this thing, (assuming its the same one for the cockpits) and possibly the board (working with glitches). I am highly interested!

That looks like a good project.

I've been trying to get parts for a while now. Had a lot of people tell me they had what I needed, but they must not have liked my price range.

It's a very cool looking cab, and I may end up doing a driving MAME in it. It's very solid.

and sadly, right now all my games are projects to some extent.

You should list that to the Seattle group. Maybe someone can fix it. Would be cool to see it working at the show next year.

You guys... you're going to make me not want to sell this thing.

I've been sitting on it for a few months doing nothing. I need fundage for my other projects.

Here's a bump for Monday.

I've got people showing interest in a few things, the PCB with glitches, the shifter, the start button and possibly the back door.

I'll keep people posted as to if things become availible again. If you want a part that is spoken for, just send a PM. I will put you in line for it.

Its not a machine that many people will need parts for. you will sell a few things then you will have a pile of junk in the corner that you can sell. No one will want to buy it whole since its missing the parts:rolleyes:

Yeah, I'm not too worried about it. I need the money more than anything. I don't mind it sitting around empty, either. Like I said, It will probably be a mame driver. I have a happ steering wheel, and I can find a smaller computer monitor to put in it.

Out of my 5 machines, only one do I consider running and playable. I have one other that is running (my PC10) but only have one game for it, and the monitors are in desperate need of caps, which I can't afford unless I sell some stuff.

Oh yeah... and don't worry. Once it's empty, even if I decide not to MAME it, I won't be smashing it, or burning it and posting pictures. That's just wrong, lol.

I have been looking for one of those in that smaller cab but I want one in alittle better shape then that sorry. I saw one a couple years ago that was primo for 250.00 I passed on, wish I had got it now. Turbo has the ice stage and in the Dark right.

Actually, I was just going to do an update.

Right now, I'm placing it on hold. After listening to everyone talking about it, I think I may try to get it running. I really haven't had it too long.

I am going to part out a full size upright, it is complete apart from the PCB (im keeping that as a backup for my caberet) love the smaller caberet and now that is working, it brings back sooooo many memories :) anyway if you need any parts let me know as entire cab has to go complete or in parts, and anyone else needing parts let me know

Getting off-topic a bit, but Turbo cockpits unbolt into 2 pieces, making them basement-friendly. I have a basement with a 180 degree turn in the staircase, and there's a Turbo cockpit in mine!

Yes, and bitchin' sound effects, especially when you're driving through the tunnel. I'd get a Turbo cockpit if I could get a cockpit through my basement door and into my game room!
