Sega Galaxy Force II

There was a deluxe version at a small arcade in Lompoc, CA back in the 90's.
I know the owner and I'll see if he stills has it.
If it's who I think it is, didn't he sell off most of the machines in his garage/shop? Hope he kept this if so.

Also, there was a super deluxe version I spent many dollars on at Sportland on the Ocean City , MD boardwalk.

Can you please elaborate on this if possible, were there any other interesting games on the Ocean City, MD boardwalk back in the day besides Galaxy Force? Any big games like the R360 (haven't heard of that one at Ocean City yet though), Galaxy Force, etc..Family used to go there for vacation and I am just curious, or perhaps I will regret asking as I will find out what I missed!

I played that same one, it was run well into the 2000s I think.
Makes you wonder who's the tech there.

Galloping Ghost Arcade has this. Doc told me a little anecdote about some Japanese men coming in and losing their minds when they saw it.

good times.

That's incredible they kept it working that long. It was $1 a play, and worth every penny.

They also had a full motion simulator that ran a helicopter type game. Was a generic manufactuer and this thing was dangerous. Had a bucket seat with a belt, and if you didn't strap in you could get thrown. I found a picture of it a while back, will see if I can find it. This was in the early 90's.

I think you might be talking about the Max Experience, but please try to dig up that picture, would love to see it if you have an actual picture of that machine, I think you can find a picture of this if you google "max experience". I don't think that thing would be allowed in arcades these days, would be a serious liability, and honestly, I think that's where I draw the line with simulators, I wouldn't get in that thing unless I saw someone go in it before myself and they survived, even then I would be... very scared of going in it and I have been on the R360 and many theme park rides and I still go on amusement rides to this day and I don't know many other people that do... maybe with a 5 point harness I would go in it, but not with just a single seat belt. Actually I would rather go on the scariest roller coaster in the world than that thing, at least I know it would be safe!

As I mentioned before we still have a galaxy force going up here, I uploaded a picture of it.

There was a deluxe gf2 in an arcade somewhere on willow pass road in concord, ca back in the late 80's. The arcade no longer exists, google fu turned up nothing.
I remember playing it and it was awesome.

I'm originally from the STL area and there were 2 SDX cabs that I played on BITD:
Northwest Plaza Tilt, St. Louis, MO
Six Flags, Eureka, MO

I have Galaxy Force and Galaxy Force II in my personal collection.
