Hi guys,

I want to connect a credit circuit (coinup v1) to my sega carnival. This works the same as a pushbutton for the credit switch, thing is with the carnival it appears that there has to be 3 connections to the switch. a NC and a NO. If you just press across the NO without disconnecting the NC, it doesnt register. The coins are registered with opto beams with a credit board. has anyone else done this or similar ?

what a pain :|

Part of that old school hardware. The game won't even boot without
the NC terminals being wired.

Solution is simple - 12 volt SPDT or DPDT relay. That's how
I set mine up with a free play button.
