Are you in the midwest by chance?
That seems to be the only place I ever see these cabs.
I don't know why or what I'd do with it but I would like one of these cabs.
Would six boards even fit in one of these?
Cool idea though.

I was thinking 6-in-1 JAMMA switch with:
SFII:CE
Xmen vs SF
XMEN COTA
Marvel vs XMEN
SF3
???
Profit?
Maybe even Survival Arts just for grins.
That and they look cool.
Somebody was selling these here on the boards recently as well for something like $600 with shipping... anybody remember who that was? I could never find the thread again via search and really, really wanna buy one...
Saw your post on Craigslist, so I'm guessing you're in Moreno Valley California, not to far from where I am.
Nice looking cab. They are great cabs for their versatility, but yeah I'd say the price depends alot on what monitor you got and what condition it's in. The only inconvenient thing about that cab is you've got to take it apart to get it to fit through a standard size doorway.
I've seen them sell anywhere from 350-600. The New Astro City fetches a bit more (has the external speaker pods by the marquee).
You might want to post the cab over at shmups or neo-geo.com. There is a larger market for japanese "candy" cabs there.
Good luck with the sale.
Oh, I believe the seller kspiff was talking about is Kingsley of coinopstore.com. There was a big group buy fiasco over at neo geo.com A lot of customer service issues and damaged cabs. I think his username is avidcollect here. Would be worth reading over if you're considering a deal with him.
I'm gonna guess you're in the bay area based off your location tag and being from Cali.
They are nice cabinets. I think the 500-650 is about right on the west coast. At one point these commanded 2-300 bucks more, but I feel (speculation mind you) the move away from CRTs with some of the contemporary titles is weighing in on these things. Plus no one has cash to burn these days.
There are still going to be last gen shmup and fighting game fans that will gobble this thing up though. Again...just speculation.
