I have 2 star wars and they both have these similar notes stapled on the inside of the cab. Any idea what these were? Was this originally done at Atari? Kind of interesting that the company mentioned is different on the notes. Anyone else have these notes inside your cab? What does yours say?

I am going to guess and say this was the top of some invoice that was stapled to the inside of the cab?

I've seen them inside some games. Last one I saw said routing ticket or something like that. I didn't look into it further but I think I still have it around.

correct. they are manufacturing routing tags. They were stamped at each phase of the production process. Sometimes you can still find complete , filled out tags inside atari games.

Yeah pretty sure those are the remnants of a routing tag as p1899m said. I found one in my Pole Position cab that hadn't been completely removed.

Here are some scans I just took from the routing tag that I found underneath the monitor of my Space Duel. I kept the tag after I sold the game. The green page is the 1st, blue is 2nd, and the orange is the back cover.

I had a Space Duel cabinet that had one of those in it. I don't think it had multiple copies like that. Probably some of them had been removed. I do remember it having "Assembly Routing Tag" or something very similar printed on it as well as something about the wood shop. Its the only one I have ever seen.

I have one in my Space duel that is stapled just to the left of the monitor inside the cab. It is such good condition it looks like it was just put there yesterday. Not a crease, wrinkle or tear in it. Does that mean my SD is worth $1000? (Well, it sounds good anyway)
