Well just got home from Seattle.
The show was AMAZING!!!!
It was so crowded by 4pm, it was hard to find a machine open to play.

Although there was about 1 in 10 pinball machines not working from my experience. But there where a number of techs working on them.

FUNNY thing in a line of FOUR Stern NBA machines, only
two was working, I wish I had a photo of two of them getting fixed at the same time. I guess that the "FAST BREAK" at the top of them machine
means that they only last for a new plays then break.

Here's a photo:

COOLEST thing there I saw was a MOM playing pinball with a very small baby in a baby carrier front pack. I wish I would've taken a photo of that, but I thought she might think I was pretty wierd!! I think the baby was loving it!!!

that's funny to watch after i spent 10+ hours getting it set up yesterday and about 8 in today (the video game side, not the pinball side.)

i'm really glad that djgil and i spent the extra time to get games sorted; i think it looks a whole lot better than the random mix we had last year. of course, now that the bar has been set people will expect it again in the future.

Yes, the Nintendo Row looked amazing!!!

I only grazed.

I plan on playing every machine tomorrow.

Awesome so far.

I saw Walter Day and totally forgot to take his picture. (or another small frail old man with a beard)

Well, I'm getting ready to head up. Just eating some breakfast. I should get there right around, or a little after the show opens this morning, if traffic is good.

Uh oh, I noticed in the video that my Championship Sprint wasn't turned on. Hopefully nothing serious went wrong with it. Was it off the whole day?

Good to see Arena was up and running on the pinball side. I got a call 10 minutes before it opened yesterday that they couldn't find the keys to put the balls in the machine - so at least that got sorted out.

I'm ALMOST positive I saw someone playing it later in the day!!

Your Championship Sprint seemed to be working fine today. I don't think I got around to playing it though.

Anyway, just got back - it was awesome. At least the arcade side was. The pin side was ridiculously busy and I only got around to playing 2 games (Iron Man and...actually I think that was it).

Got to meet Steve Weibe and get my pic taken with him...it was awesome!

What a great day.

I noticed in the video that my Championship Sprint wasn't turned on.

there was a question of the whereabouts of the keys for CS; mainly, i kept asking where they were and nobody seemed to know the answer. at some point they showed up on the key board and we were able to get it up and running fairly early on Friday.

dang i'm tired. hopefully someone will post the KLOV/SMAC/PAC picture soon so we can get the horror over with.

I made it down yesterday (and we're getting ready to head out again today) and all my games were working fine -- but someone put up 55K on my Frogger now, so I have a new score to shoot for.

I thought there was a Black Widow on the game list, but I didn't see it yesterday. Maybe I just walked by it a few times without noticing it. That little hockey slap shot game's pretty entertaining.

Organizers: Read that over and over and over again!!!!

yeah, read it over and over again as I was kinda ticked off at just how insane it was to get on any frickin machines. I was only able to play one game on Iron Man, and some other crappy pin and that was pretty much all I was able to get on (I could have gotten on other random crappy (old) pins, but what would have been the point. They needed to have at least 50% more pins.

The arcade though was fairly easy to get on the games I wanted. It did take me a while to get on Operation Wolf, but that was only because it wasn't set on free play and someone had to coin it up every so often.

The only thing on the arcade side I didn't get a chance to check out was shilmovers virtual pin. By the way, how much would it cost to have one of those made?

I showed up right around 10am on Saturday and made my run through the pinball room first. Up until around 11:30 it wasn't too bad to get on any of the pins. The arcade was almost completely open. It got bad around noon (Crowded enough my wife went home), and then cleared out somewhat again around 4ish. Next year I'll be there at 10am for sure as playing in the morning was so much nicer than fighting the crowds.

Here's some crappy Iphone pics showing two rows from the arcade side. I swear that Gauntlet was the only machine I didn't see open the entire day.
