I was looking today, and saw the dates had been set for the Northwest Pinball and Gameroom show in Seattle. Time to start looking for a Hotel.

How many people are going? What games are you guys bringing?

Cant wait!! Cool looks like its at the Seattle Center again.

I'll be there. Considering bringing a game, but with the distance I have to go and having a family to bring as well, it'll probably be too much to bring multiple. Plus who knows - I might bring a new game home with me! :D

i'll be there. don't know how many games i'll bring, but if i can swing it maybe 10ish. so far i'm in for Mortal Kombat, CarnEvil, Fantasy, Time Pilot, and Time Pilot '84. i suppose i should probably my TP '84 project by June then.

of course, my list may change depending on what i still have and what i may have done (or newly collected) by show time.

I'll be there -- I re-organized our family vacation to make sure we'd be back for it. Unfortunately that means I won't be able to take time off Thursday to help set up, and may not be able to make it Friday.

I'll be bringing my Arena pinball, Frogger, and Horizontal Multi-JAMMA again.

since i dont exactly have family to stay with if i can make it up i need to convince someone to go with me to split costs. *attention caddysrule*this means you!
and if people are willing to let me crash on their couch for a day or two im there ;)

How does the Seattle show compare to CAX? If I was able to go, it would be one or the other... and the Seattle show is about 200 miles closer...

I like it more. Vids and pins are in separate rooms and it seems much easier to find someone you're looking for, so I like it more from a social aspect. Seemed more conducive for klov'ers to hang out. Has a simpler layout since it's in a rectangular room. It was also less packed than CAX and has an extra day. Doesn't have the quantity that CAX has, nor some of the more obscure prototypes and stuff. Also is it's not in a hotel so you don't have the convenience factor that CAX has. It is walking distance from the Space Needle and Experience Music Project if you want to do other stuff as well.

So from my perspective there are pluses and minuses, so if you're on the fence I say try something new. :)

For what it's worth, this will probably improve significantly each year. Consider that last year was the first year arcade games were included in the show and only the second year overall for the pins!

Do people sell games there?

Some games are marked for sale. If you see something that you must have, we can contact the owner with an offer.

If anyone wants to go for a world record supervised by Twin Galaxies, let me know that you will be there and what title I need to provide for you. We get people from all over USA and Canada going for world records.

I'm going to try to do the Seattle show. My wife has a friend that moved up there last year so I may play that angle, or I may just fly up there by myself and do the show.

Sounds fun If I can go I will :)
Lets talk about It this weekend when you come to my casa....

I'll be there at least one day, for sure.

I'd offer my sofa or spare futon to any out-of-towners, but I'm in Tacoma (about 40 min from Seattle Center). If that isn't a problem, get in touch wit me.

I'll be there for sure helping with setup and all 3 days of fun. I hope to have Gran Trak 10 done and there maybe a Playchoice 10 and a DKJr if they need another. - Barry

Will the Lunar Lander be there again this year. Might be interested at in a run for the World Record at the show:cool:

If you're hard core serious, I will get one of the two that we have in our collection.

Im within 60 points of the record now. I was planning on filming and submitting, but might save it for the show, if I can wait that long:)
