Sea Wolf Value?

FYI, these come with at least two different types monitors depending if its an early or later production run.
The ratted out donor cab I bought had one of the old Midway PC 161-900-1 monitors in it. My other one has a Motorola XM-501. I think the Motorola is the better of the two monitors which is what I'm leaving in the game I'm keeping.

I believe it's technically the XM-701 (23"). The 501 is the 19". Not sure if the chassis are identical, but maybe so, if yours says 501. But see the manual for details:

I rebuilt the 701 on mine, and they are well made. Can't say how they compare to the Midway you mentioned, but the 701 is beefy, and was easy to work on.

Yeah, thats correct. Same basic monitor, just different tube size.

The midway monitor is kind of funky. I also have one in my Gun Fight.
Up until recently there were no replacements for the foil paper caps.
Security001 just make a cap kit to replace those and had to have some of the caps specially made for that kit.
Its an older monitor that they must have done away with fairly early on.
The board isn't even labeled with numbers for the caps and components which is one of the things I really don't like about it.

EDIT: I'm on the road traveling at the moment. When I get back home, ill take some pictures of the chassis on the two different monitors. They both have the backs off and are pretty accessible in one of my garage bays.

Interesting. I'd be surprised if the foil paper caps need to be replaced with the same type. There must be modern replacements that will work, as it's the capacitance/voltage rating that matters, moreso than the type (and modern types are available for any special needs, e.g., leakage, stability, etc).

Peter (security001) had some ceramic non polarized caps made as modern replacements.
Theres three in total on the board.
