My sea wolf has 2 9316b roms in it. Should there be 4? I see that the mame roms include 4 rom files of 1024 bytes each. With a little research I know that they sometimes used 9316b's and sometimes 2716's. I would guess they're the same size (and hence there should be 4 chips) but I'm not positive. Haven't yet found a 9316b datasheet.

Wondering if I'm missing 2 roms and that's the reason the game isn't booting (or at least one reason).

On a secondary note, I see that there is a process called "strapping" to change the board to work with 2716's. What exactly is done in this process?

Well I just looked at my Sea Wolf and it is running the 9316b also and there are only two of them. It looks like there 2k chips.

Yeah, I found a datasheet for the 9316b, as well as for the 2716. They're both 2k bytes (16k bits, duh). They must have used 1k byte chips sometimes since the mame roms are 1k and filled positions h, g, f, and e. Thanks for checking Matt!
