I am extremely excited to finally have found a SEA WOLF in working shape for $200. It took the sun and moon to align itself and my wife asleep long enough for me to sneak out and get it. But, none the less I finally have it. cleaned her all up last night and played several games before noting a few minor problems. I am hoping other sea wolf lovers out there could help me with some of these issues:
1) I hear a more than mild hummmmm coming out of the speaker. When adjusting the volume it gets worse or better depending of the direction I turn. Luckily, it is not too loud when the game sounds are heard. so for now I leave it there. Unfortunately, I currently do not have the entire instruction manual, so I depend on the arcadeophiles out there for some help. Any ideas what could cause this humm(speaker, AR board....)?
2) Most of the small light bulbs that hide behind the front glass are blown. They only say "W53X". Also the blue tinted one at the top of the front glass ( about 20" long). Anyone know a source for these lights and any others in the machine? I googled W53X to no avail.
3) Though the game seems to work well, I do not see ( or very faintly) the center sight. Is this scribed in the glass or possibly a light bulb issue????
4) I seem to remember a "Ping...Ping...Ping" sonar sound emanating during the play of this game. I currently do not hear that sound. Any ideas ( The last time I played this game, I was young enough to use that step--been awhile) ?
5) If anyone has a manual for SW I would pay for it to be scanned or purchase at a more reasonable price than I see on EBAY.
anyway, any help or advise would be greatly appreciated.
thanks
