Screw Sizes for Atari Utility Panels?

Details person right here. Some people are very detailed, right down to every last nut, bolt and screw. I'm all for that and this thread is very informative. Restore a car and there are exponentially more screws, nuts and bolts to match.

Fasteners are purchased by the thousands when manufacturing. Assembly is the same on a production line and, rarely, if ever changes within a specific model run. Why would it? Some go-fer making a weekly run to the bolt depot. That makes no sense.

Mike's Arcade is a pretty good source for Nintendo fasteners. Yeah, hardware is a big part of a good restoration.

Exactly. There really aren't that many variations and if you've done any carpentry or mechanical work in your life can see the reasoning behind the use of certain fasteners. If you haven't this type of detail might not jump out at you but it's pretty glaring to me. If you ever run across a trashed cabinet saving the hardware would be appreciated by some folks around here because those specific fasteners aren't that easy to find.

And yeah, the number of details to an arcade cabinet aren't as bad as a car. Restoring a car to this level of detail seems maddening.

Also appreciate the work of adding this info to the KLOV knowledge base.
