Got someone near the DC area posting a Frogger machine on CL for $125. They say the machine starts up and the sound works great, but there is no monitor in the cab. How much would a screen cost for a Frogger?

Probably $50 - $100 - whatever a used monitor goes for. Any monitor will work - but note that Frogger is usually positive sync, and some of the cheapie new monitors won't take that. But any of the classic monitors, G07, 4600, 4900, etc wll work perfectly.

Most important is that you need a monitor in a vertical frame. Universal frame monitors will not fit in the cabinet unless you plan on cutting a hole in the back door or leaving the door off.

Ah. Right. Good point Chris. Been a while since I've worked in a Frogger, so I forgot the orientation of the monitor.

Also, I've modified horizontal mount frames before to fit in similar situations - but it's by far preferable to find the right monitor :)

Also, it's not hard to swap frames between monitors, if you find a cheap horizontal monitor, you can just get a vertical frame and swap the electronics/tube. You'll just have to make mounts for the chassis if the frames aren't from the same monitor.
