Okay, the burn comes with the tube. If you can see it while it's off, you better believe you will most likely see it when it's on. However, I'm king of screen burn in. Even a hint of burn, and I hate the monitor. Good luck.
Most likely you will except, if the burn is not that bad and the game you are putting it has a lot of graphics. If you put it in with graphics that have alot of one or two colors you will see the burn but if it has alot of different graphics and colors your eyes will not see it unless you look for it.
depends if the game you are swapping it from burned onto the screen, some screen burn you dont notice during game play. dark plex takes care of minor burn
Its usually only noticeable when the game is off. I hate looking at screen burn, but I'm anal about things like that. Most people probably wouldnt care. In process of replacing all my burned monitors with brand new neotech-nt1000's. They look great, much better than the old ones.
The cheaper I get the monitor, or the more I like the game, the less I notice the burn. I built a Golden Tee 2005 out of auction parts for around $50. Yes, there is screen burn, but for $50, I never notice it.
