Scramble restoration

That looks great and I love to see a thorough restoration like that! Those Stern cabinets have always struck me as huge. The artwork really pops and looks great re-done.

The project turned out fantastic, very nicely done. I enjoyed the thread and ive used it for ideas/reference for my Stern "The End" scratch build. The current dimensions i have seem to have some missing/incorrect data and I was hoping you could clear up a few things for me. Can you take a few measurements of your cabinet for me? The measurements id like to have include: Bottom of the coin door panel to lowest point on the side panel, and measurements necessary to recreate the section at the rear/bottom of the side panels. (what looks to be a removed triangle. At this moment I believe all the other data points I have to be correct.

Thank you,

Curtis

Holy 9-year-old thread resurrection, Batman!

It is a wonderful restoration thread though, so it was nice to see! My Scramble is "just right". It's in that "I was in an arcade" shape, but not abused.

One of these days my Gyruss next to it needs stenciling.....I even HAVE the stencils. Thats like 40th on the "arcade TODO list".

Bottom of steel coin door to bottom of side panel = 21 5/8" approx as measured on my dedicated TheEnd.

^^^ I got exactly the same measurement on my Scramble. The triangle at the back is 2 5/8" high and starts 3 1/2" from the rear edge of the side panel. This might not be accurate though, since my cabinet was chewed up really bad in this area originally, so I had to guess the dimensions when rebuilding that part.
