Scored another game and damaged my first cabinet today...

Today I landed a Centipede Cabaret in AWESOME shape. I took pics before I cleaned it up so it doesnt look as nice as it does now. This cabaret is cute as hell, but dont let this cute little cabaret fool you. This mofo is still HEAVY. Heavier than any of my other full size non-Atari games. I underestimated this beast when I pulled it out of the truck. Lost my footing and it hit the ground and pulled one of the sides away from the base. Didnt harm it functionally, but being my pessimistic self, I thought I just trashed it. Pounded a few nails and gave it some glue and we should be back in buisness by the morning. It will be up for sale after a cap kit and some trackball work. More pics to come.

I seem to remember a centipede mini making it's rounds a year or so ago around reno.
nice pick up

If you think the mini is heavy, wait until you move some full sized Ataris.

Nice pickup!

Oh no, believe me, my fullsize Centipede and Paperboy will never see the inside of my house because I dont think my floorboards can support them!

I didn't really think my Cenitped UR was that difficult to move by myself. Didn't seem to weigh that much to me. I did of course, buy a 4 player, 2 monitor Cyberball at the same time. THAT one was a B**CH to move. 475 lbs. I'm told.

Atari = heavy Mo Fo's

Same thing happened when my buddy unloaded his Wizard of War Mini. He pulled it a little too hard, and oops! There goes the side panel.

i would say centipede is probably the heaviest atari upright i've had. maybe it's the wood they used. i dunno. but all the ones i've seen are pretty solid cabinets.
