last night I got an asteroids from the friend who inspired me to learn electronics repair. he's had this machine for a couple of years with the spot in the middle of the monitor. he and I over time have replaced big blue on the power supply, replaced the caps on the main board, and installed the bob roberts monitor rejuve kit. the machine plays blind now but with the dot in the middle of the monitor. if y'all could give me a good place to start on this diagnosis it would be great. i'll post in the tech/help section as I dig in to ya'll's suggestions.

and mod, i've still got your bud tapper to trade. I still haven't dug into it.

Asteroids

Start by reflowing the solder joints on the deflection pcb. The header pins are the culprit 9 out of 10 times. It is located on the right hand side of the monitor frame.
