Scored a PSP with 7 games from a co-worker last week... $40 and it looks to be almost new.

What a fun little system! I picked up a stack of games and movies dirt cheap from Gamestop when in Silicon Valley last week. Worked great for playing MP3s and UMD movies while on the plane.

I enjoyed my PSP a lot.

Best thing you can do is mod it. If you have a 1000 or 2000 you can install the custom firmware to boot every time, with a 3000 you can run it off the memory card.

I own around 50 PSP games and one of the coolest things about modding is I've backed them all up and can load 4-5 on a memory stick at once to play. My discs sit at home, no risk.

There's are some stores here in town called Dollar Tree, that are an offshoot of the Dollar General stores, that have a ton of PSP movies right now for $1 each.

If you've got that name store in town you may want to hit them up for some cheap movies.

Plus you save the battery that would have been used spinning up the disc. ;)

+1 for modding. You can add emulators and what not. Hardly ever break out the UMD's anymore, actually don't know if the UMD drive still works. :)

My PSP was still on OFW 1.5 up until a month or so ago when I picked up Assassin's Creed Bloodlines for cheap. I had to update to get it to run, but I haven't yet modded it back to run emulators and such.
