Will upload photos later if wanted, but stumbled upon a Sears Telegames heavy sixer in a consignment shop for $25 today.

In the box, with instructions and all original accessories. The thing looks in brand new condition, the boxes for the two included games (27 telegames and blackjack... yawn) aren't even wrinkled.

Some days you just have the sun shine down on you.

Are you a collector? Plan on keeping it??

Also - random question for you, do your .900 tokens work in regular .25 coin mechs?

I do plan on keeping it, though it is my first piece of 2600 gear since the early 80's. God I went through so many joysticks back then. Actually, I'm also considering moving toward doing repair work and possibly some gear for the 2600, so I need to get some hands-on time with the hardware.

My tokens won't work in a standard quarter-only mech without modifying/adjusting it. It's hit or miss doing that kind of adjusting. You can get mechs that take .900 tokens and quarters, or token only mech's.

That's the one I had back in the day - the Sears heavy sixer, bought for Christmas 1977.

And Sears is where we bought all our games.

Awesome grab!

That's where I found mine many years ago - at a consignment shop. It looked like it had never been used; in the box, all original peripherals. Bought it for $8.

I sold it for a ton more, and put the money towards buying my first arcade game. :D
