Hey all-
I recently got a MCR type Sarge PCB. They used the MCR hardware in conversion kits for Demo Derby cocktail machines, and they used the monoboard in the dedicated Sarge upright. Anyways I'm running the PCB in my machine, and everything works great, except saving the high scores. I can't figure out why it won't save them, and at this point I wonder if it even does! I am using a battery backed RAM, which I have installed on ALL of MCR series machines, and never had a problem. I tried a different RAM, and double checked the location of the RAM with my Demolition Derby PCB's (same CPU board) I even then swapped the CPU board from my Demolition Derby PCB (saves scores fine) and put in the Sarge ROM'S, and it still doesn't work. ....I really think it just doesn't save the scores! Can anybody confirm this for me?
