We bought a machine from a guy who got it from an estate sale. Lots of cobwebs and dust when we got it home but no obvious mechanical issues. Following the troubleshooting guide I've got the machine to the point where I can turn it on... low hum at first, then after 9-10 seconds loud thunk, louder humming. Some of the selector switches do nothing but there is a mechanical click that the switch does not make when there is no power, resulting in the green selection lamp going out but no further action. I've replaced the tube and the fuse (2.0) to get here. I'm on page 90 of the book, Troubleshooting Item 10. I've got several possible things it could be. Is there any way to narrow this down as to whether it is bad solenoid or bad capacitors? I'm good with mechanical things, not so much with electronics.
