Saw this posted on the local (DC) craigslist:
RARE Joust Head to Head Pinball Machine - $1500 (washington)
http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/doc/tag/1950404210.html

I emailed seller and they wrote back:

"Hello,
Still for sale
Right now i am in Orlando,Florida moved here with my new job,i will stay here for 2 months.
If you are still interested in buying the Pinball Machine i can arrange 3 days delivery with a shipping company
Please let me know
Regards Jesse"

OK, that's odd. If the game is here, why can't I pick it up? If the game is in Florida, why is it advertised here?

I did some searches and it turns out the same exact text for the ad is from an ebay auction from 2007: http://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/rare-joust-head-to-head-pinball-machine-atlanta

The photos are easy enough to copy from anywhere (probably taken from that Joust pinball ebay auction last month but the photos are not on there still so I couldn't check).

Anybody else respond to the ad and get the same or a different response from the "seller"?

Shipping

I ship games and it is a 2-3 day delivery time up to 1200 miles most of the time. NAVL waits until thay have a rwason to go there so it takes a lot longer most of the time. People are use to that now.

They never wrote back when I asked additional questions and it wasn't posted again (after being flagged) so I'm pretty sure that this was, indeed, a scam attempt.

I'm going to post the scammer's name and email address in case anyone does a future search for this person. The name could be completely made up, of course, so just keep that in mind. Or they could have been dumb enough to use their real name. Either way, here it is:

Got the same email, and then said how that was great because I'm in NYC for a few weeks, let's get it shipped here, and then I can meet him in person....and no response lol
