I played a few more times and still dont understand what makes the game continue on and what makes it end.
But it's unique. It's fun. And that SOB was in great condition!

Now that's cool, anyone have a picture of that? I don't know that I've ever seen Japanese in vector form.BTW: Game was set to display Japanese words onscreen (vector drawn Japanese is pretty neat). The game was set to English where it arrived. In the process of fixing it (power transistors, blown DACs, resisters, etc.) the Japanese was discovered and turned on for the show.
I know it's been mentioned, but I still can't get my head around it.
There weren't many Sundance machines to begin with, the vast majority of those didn't survive, they weren't built to last that long, and they're a grail in this hobby. Yet, one turns up in an abandoned shack-turned-drug den where everything else is trashed, and where it almost certainly would've been the most interesting thing in there (besides the drugs) and thus even more likely to be trashed.
And it's in great shape.
If I didn't know the story behind it, I would've said the only way it could be true is if someone planted it there to be found...
I'm getting PM asking me about it so I thought it was time to post.
Yes, the Sundance at SC3 was mine as is the one that was the subject of extensive discussion here.
It was fixed just in time for the show...
