Ive scoured the forums with the search option, finding a couple of ideas, but heres my situation:

I bought a golden tee 2k for fifty bucks only with the intention of turning it into a konami style four player jamma cab as it looked exactly like that particular cab. The cab was painted black, but upon getting it home, I noticed a scratch in the paint. Under that paint was a light blue/greenish color, seeing this my interest was peaked. I used a little goof off just to penetrate the paint, and what did I find, but Simpsons side art! Now, I'd like to strip the black latex paint off of the cab but save the sideart underneath. What is the best stuff you guys have used?

I think my buddy uses citristrip for his stuff. It's the pinkinsh colored crap in the see-thru bottle.

Thanks! I've also seen on the forums where someone has used Motsenbocker's Lift Off, so I guess its a toss up between those two, Im gonna head to home depot in a bit to pick up something

Worked very well. Side art underneath was beautiful. Attached are a few pictures. There was little areas where black paint was left. I am sure they would have come off with little effort.

I used 3M safest stripper to remove black paint from a midway MKII cab.

This stuff is awesome and didn't phase the Atari sideart underneath the black (and gray) paint on my Centipede. The acetone was used to spot clean afterwards.

+1 for Citristrip. I had a Centipede painted black. I then used an old credit card to scrape.
Im not sure about Konami side art but the Atari side art is pretty tough stuff.

Update: my local home depot had not heard of 3M safest, even though it was on their site, so I went with the Motsenbocker's, it appears to be pulling the color off the sideart as well.....not good..

Is this stuff available anywhere besides online? I'd like to get some today if possible. I need to take the motsenbockers back since it was destroying the sideart, and find something else.
