So on my Rapid Fire, toward the bottom is one chunk of art that has lifted. It is still attached but only by a small portion. I want to seal the entire backglass with triple thick but i dont know how to get one the piece to lay flat.

If i just spray it the way it is now, the triple thick will go underneath the piece. So i figure i can set something small down on the piece to make it stay flat. But what? I have seen someone use some small magnets or something but when they removed them, it took paint off.

Ideas?

Spray some triple thick into a can and use a brush to apply it to the piece that's lifted. It should soften the paint allowing it to lay flat easier. Then you can spray the whole thing and use cling wrap if you need to. That's one way to fix it...

FWIW: Magnets sound like a terrible idea.

will give that a go.

the magnet thing was just used as a weight. they were about as big around as a pen cap. still probably not the best idea.

Anyone use the Rustoleum equivalent of Triple Thick? I just happen to have a can of that stuff laying around and want to also save the back glass on my Black Pyramid.

I never have but I've seen people use the cheapest stuff they can get their hands on and have decent results. That said... I probably wouldn't try it for the first time on anything of value.
