Got this Wacko about a month ago. It had been converted to Spinal Breakers (JAMMA) and the monitor was now missing.

The cab had the side art, suitcase, coin door, and other odds and ends like speakers, marquee fixture, etc..

Coincidentally, I had a complete Wacko board set, and was able to source a harness, PS board, bezel, populated CP, marquee, rebuild the controls and get it all back together.

I have a brand new CPO but haven't installed it yet. Flirting with taking this to CAX and may save the new CPO until after the show.

Fun game!

BTW, if anyone has an extra "front CPO" I would happily purchase it from you. Rich is out of stock

Congrats!

I was happy to read this was regarding the game wacko, and not any KLOV Members ( Myself included).

Nice save!

Where did you source the trackball rebuild stuff?

Well, I went through and cleaned it all out, polished the ball up, and replaced the bearings as they are the same as Centipede, etc..

That said, the rollers do have some wear in the middle. I did my best to polish them up (drill + multiple grits of sand paper) but I've been communicating with @chips4sle and he's currently doing another run of the rebuild kits. [fingers crossed]

This is awesome.
Another dimented game that I loved so many years ago.
I remember hearing my dad laugh at me when I ran up to drop a quarter into it for the first time.

Have to imagine then that it does not have a regular old Happ trackball in it?

Nice work! That game is so unique and always catches my attention. Unique game to own for sure.

Must say that the game it was converted to is oddly appropriate. ;)
