I have a Midway Galaxian cabinet... completely gutted... ***FREE***

If it's not gone by this weekend it's going to the county landfill. Save the Midway cab... pick it up ***FREE***!

(note: coin door, control panel & marquee are gone - All that is left is the solid cabinet itself...

Dude - $250 in parts and you have a 48-1 waiting to happen.

I wonder where I can get a monitor, coin door, control panel, marquee, bezel, wiring harness, power transformer/brick, etc, etc etc for $250?

Please shoot me out a link if you know someone cuz I'd be all over that.

:)

Actually...it was going to be a Multicade project, but with the 5 cabs I still have here to sell, I am neck deep in to projects.

:D

Is that photo pre-gutted? Looks like you already have a coin door, control panel (for Galaga, anyway), and marquee.

19" PC monitor - free (hell, most people wouldn't even notice the difference if you used a 17"...)
Coin door - $40
CP: $30
PC Power supply - free
JAMMA harness - $10 (or free in your parts stash)
Bezel - plain plexi or glass. $30
Marquee - $20

Grand Total: $130

Well shit... I already have one 48-in-1 I gotta get rid of first. Grrr... maybe I'll just keep it as a box holder for a while longer to see how that sale goes.

From original post:

OK, I missed that line below the photo. I obviously realized that the monitor, etc., was missing. I was responding to his later post that said "I wonder where I can get a monitor, coin door, control panel, marquee, bezel, wiring harness, power transformer/brick, etc, etc etc for $250?" but the photo shows several of those items intact.

You don't think he'd know if he had those things?

and if you don't want all the work of making a cp with a trackball, arcadeshop sells them for like $28 I think.

60 in 1 that shit, unless you don't have room to keep it.

I'd take it for sure if it was close buy. It is in way better shape then the cab that I have that needs some major wood work. Mine is getting Pac stencils......

Looks like the guy/gal buying my Centipede may take this. I DO have too many projects going at once...and since I got it for free, I suppose it really should be given for free (even if I did take the CP, coin door, and marquee off it).

:D

Oh, and by the way... I'm finding that making generic multicades is boring as hell. If, somehow, I do end up keeping this bastard, I think I may still multi it, but with a theme... restore it back to Galaxian, use the original Galaxian CP, 2 way stick, etc... but run a multi with only 2-way games on it.
