-on T2:
1. the coin light bulbs were out, it takes GE555's. I only had one new one, so for the other I put in a 194 bulb for the time being. Great to see them lit up finally!
-on TRON:
1. my coin door light issue still persists, but I was able to check the voltages on the credit switches (the ones the coins hit), and the vibration switch over by the lock on the door. Everything is getting juice but the blasted coin lights!
2. I "borrowed" the coin mechs from my dormant Omega Race to put into TRON. Up until last night, I was hitting the red credit button inside. This was my first time installing mechs in a game like you pro's do here
It was cool to learn the interchangeability of these games.
I did also notice however that when you drop a coin in the game, you hear a brief *pop* in the speakers.. I'm wondering if my coin light issue is a poor ground, since you shouldn't be hearing anything in the speakers when the coins go through the slots?
3. I learned that my machine is #6806
4. I got my new score on the game, which if memory serves is 36,172. I'll come back and edit this if it's wrong but the 36 part is definitely right.
-on Evel Knievel:
1. I unearthed the machine from all of the sh*t that accumulated on top of it, and remembered after seeing the box that I did score an MPU for the game already. Now I just need the lamp board, transformer, score board displays, and a partial harness. But hey, at least I can see the game again now!
It was a good night in the garcade. I envy all of you who are able to have the games right there in your home!
