Satans Hollow started getting hum bars today, also affecting the sound. So far, I tried a different chassis, different power supply, checked all fuses and connections and cleaned the fuse blocks, no difference. I think the obvious answer is something in the suitcase, but just for shiggles, any other opinions?

There's three big caps in the "suitcase"......any one of those can cause a hum bar. Do you have any other MCR hardware games? You could swap caps to find the guilty culprit. Since it affecting the audio too.....my guess is the 55K cap.

My Tron's still on location at the moment. It has a switcher with adapter in it. When it comes back Ill try that out. I do have the old working PS from Tron here and tried that already, no difference.

Ensure game has a good ground pin on the AC plug

Not familiar with this game exactly but I will assume since it's a Bally/Williams product that the fuse blocks/holders are dirty and or weak. Replace the fuse holder is what I'd do. For kicks and grins you pull the fuses, clean the fuse contacts and then pinch the fuse holder before re-inserting the fuse.
Also, not sure if B/W ever used a filter board on that PCB (like they did on Pacman and a few others) but if you have one remove it and plug the harness directly into the PCB.

Sometimes a person can run a second ground wire from the ISO to the monitor chassis as well.

Tron does not have a suitcase. The big caps are contained in their own assembly with some diodes and fuses. The caps on Tron are also spade terminal. I don't have a Satan's Hollow, but if it has the regular suitcase like Spy Hunter or EDOT, the caps will be screw terminal. You should still be able to swap them to test, but it may not be as straight-forward as you would like.
