I did a tube swap on a Sanyo 20ez today. I used a tube out of a Mitsubishi Model #CS-1944R TV. The tube's number was A48JEX03X E. The yoke from the tv was so close I didn't need to change it out. I did however have to reverse the vertical windings. It took about 25 minutes from start to finish and the picture looks great.

Yoke measured
2.5 ohms
52.2 ohms

Thought I would share.

Nice. Next time, instead of cutting the vertical yoke wires and resplicing them, just cut the connector in half between the horizontal pair and the vertical pair, then just rotate the vertical pair.

Or you could just pop the pins out of the connector and swap their positions...

Maybe I was using the wrong tool but, the pins wouldn't come out of the connector so, I cut the wires. I didn't really want to do it that way.

Thanks

Thank you so much for posting this. I have one of those tvs that I thought would work but I have not opened it up yet. Now i know where my next Sanyo tube is coming from.
