Got a sanyo that looked washed out so i recapped it. Everything looks great on it except there is no adjustment to the green. I can turn the pot on the neckboard and it does nothing. I swapped the transistors around on the neckboard for red/green and no change. Also swapped the green and blue wires on the neckboard and the blue is adjustable (fed green input wire) meaning there is a green signal coming through, but the green pot (blue signal wire) does nothing even though i know the signal on the blue wire is fine.

So i believe its either something on the neckboard other than the transistors, or the tube. I have a rejuvenator and the green gun checks out fine.. Could the gun still be bad?

I would check green circuit on neckboard for cold solder joints or bad componets first then check tube with rejuvinator

I assume you've checked the pot?

Another thing to do is check the tube connector on the necboard for corrosion - it might not be making proper contact with the green pins on the tube neck.

There really aren't many components in that circuit - keep checking them. If the green gun checks out OK on the rejuvinator you should definitely get a picture out of it.

Cool.. I wasn't sure if the rejuv could say everything was good, but the gun still faulty somehow. (slack I did check the guns with my rejuv)

Yes pot metered good.

I did pull the neckboard back a bit and got a clip down from the ground on my dmm and checked for continuity to the back side and it was ok for one pin.. but I was assuming a certain pin was green based on rejuv settings.. I guess I will check them all in case I was wrong on the one I did do and it was for something else.. Ya there isn't much on the NB for each circuit so I guess I will go through and check continuity part to part. Man these Sanyos are flimsy on the pcb's..

Thanks!
