So I capped my DK monitor as it was in the early stages of vertical collapse. I bought the deluxe kit from bob roberts, and capped it just as I had capped many nintendo monitors before it. I plug it in and fire it up, and all I get is one dot in the center of the screen. Im sure I got all the caps in with the correct polarity, what could have caused this? Thanks for your help!!

a dot in the center is usually from the yoke not being hooked up.
also verify the test switch is in the normal position.

Thanks buffet. After looking my chassis over again, you were exactly right. I capped the monitor kind of late, put it back together (apparently not paying full attention) and missed the yoke connection. Plugged it in and saw a gorgeous picture. Appreciate the help. :D
