I have a DK mini cabinet with what I guess is a cocktail sized Sanyo. My question is what is this transformer on the monitor chassis for? There are no wires attached to it and I have no idea how to wire it back up. So if someone could snap me some pictures of a monitor with the wires attached or give me a general idea of how to hook it back up it would be much appreciated.

So no one can tell me how to hook up that little white transformer on the back of the Monitor frame? Or at least tell me if its critical for the monitor to function.

I've honestly never seen one quite like the one in your picture. Are you sure it's a Sanyo?......maybe a Sharp?

On all early Nintendo machines (regardless of monitor manufacturer).....The small transformer is connected to the audio amp board on one side.....the games speaker on the other side.
