So I installed my first cap kit ever last night and in was on a nintendo Sanyo 20EZ

Wasn't too hard, more time consuming then anything...

After everything was back together, I fired it up on my DK machine. What a difference! Now the image displays on the whole screen!

After adjustments all seemed well and I installed it back in the cabinet...

After a couple game plays however I'm now hearing a clicking sound about every three seconds and the screen kind of jumps each time it clicks...

Any idea what this could be? I powered it off right away and haven't turned it back on since....

did you hook up the neck ground.

is the degauss wire hooked up.

clean the anode cup and hole.

did you reattached the chassis ground wire.
it's the little black wire on the rite side of the chassis that goes under the screw with the fork.

it is possible that your flyback is going bad.

Peace

Just a thought, have you double checked that none of the caps are in backwords? I did this the first time on my Dr. Mario, but all I got was no screen, it didn't hurt the cap. Even after powering it up 4 or 5 times. Good Luck

How do you know? I'm assuming you don't have a cap tester, since you wouldn't have needed to do a cap kit in the first place if you did.
