The monitor in my DK3 started having a rolling picture every few seconds. It would work fine for around 5 minutes on start up and then start. I left it run for a bit to see if it would come out of it, and came back and the screen was going crazy. From what I heard this is a fly back issue?

I am going to attempt to replace it, as I have put a new cap kit, and B+ Pot on this board.

I found this guide, but is there anything else I need to know, hints, or common mistakes when replacing these? I have fucked up a board by trying to replace the current limiter so just want to get all the info before I attempt it.

Thanks Guys.

Take back panel off, turn off lights and watch under the flyback area. chances are you'll see a blue spark meaning yes the flyback is toast.
Ensure the capkit comes with the filter cap and replace that too.
