Working on a Sanyo that go inadvertantly subjected to un-isolated power.. Does anyone know what a sub for the zener diode 201 at is? I couldnt find it using the numbers in the schematic.

Post back and update if you get it working. I've never heard of anyone being able to ressurect one after it's been plugged into the wall.

I actually got it working.. it blew d211 and d212 ( I think, dont have the schematic in front of me). Essentially there are 3 diodes on the synch input, two switching diodes and one zener. All three were showing shorts (the monitor was getting no synch). I replaced the switching diodes with 4148s and just yanked the zener to test it, and it came up. Im guessing its there to protect the input stage, so it will go back as soon as I get one.
