Thanks for reading my post and for any and all assistance.

Just picked up a cab with a Sanyo EZV in it, and I'm trying to ascertain whether or not there are adjustments for color I can handle, or whether or not I have a candidate for the repair shop. Additionally, should it be shop time I'm curious what potential issues might be there.

Donkey Kong (4 PCB set) video cable going directly to the monitor board (e.g. bypassing the inverter board all together), and R/G/B neck adjustments near or fully clockwise.

FWIW, I just took apart the entire board set and deep cleaned everything which thankfully sorted out some random visual artifact and game reset issues. Plays perfectly now.

have you adjusted the subbrightness on the main chassis pcb? then i would color balance it and have you capped the monitor.

if you haven't grab a cap kit from security001 because every sanyo I've come across has needed or will need one soon

Yup yup, and after the manual adjustment checklists it's clear cap kit time.

As an aside, thank god for my adjustment toolkit of plastic parts. That sub brightness location is terrifying.

yeah its in there a ways and i sell a 12inch and 16inch non conductive tools for it and also the B+ pot is another location that the 16inch tools works great to keep your hands out of your work. make sure when testing that the monitor is hooked up to an 100v iso transformer or your cabinet plug in.

Heh, yup on the transformer. My first Nintendo cab. The way the monitor gets juice off the original board is unique. Wonder how many people ruined their monitors over the years with that plug...
