I've recently picked up a donkey kong and have been in the process of bringing it back to life. Monitor board looked terrible, so I sent it off to Chad @ monitorboss for a professional job. Got everything back and put together tonight; wife gave the DK her special blessing to be brought into the house (and she played her first game of DK ever) - Anyway, the monitor looks great but the bottom right corner seems oddly out of focus. (see attached images)

Any ideas/tips? FYI, this is a 4 board TKG3 donkey kong.

Actually, that looks like convergence issue with the red and blue. Check to make sure your yoke is set evenly spaced from the tube all around, and isn't slightly closer or farther away on that side....

convergence.. its also possible your shadow mask / grill apature is corrupted / warped from age & heat.

I also have a 20ez that it is impossible to get the convergence right on one of the corners. I must have messed around with it for an hour or so trying to get it right. I don't have a pattern generator so maybe that would help me out instaid of just using attract modes of a bunch of vs games. This monitor has a large dent it the side of the frame where it looks like it was dropped, so maybe that has something to do with it also...

It was the convergence. I loosend the screws and adjusted the yoke. Had to remove some of the triangle sponges and replace them, but now the monitor is looking much, much better.

Prett hairy work, wrapping you hand around the yoke while that monitor is fired up!
