I'm trying to troubleshoot a monitor from a distance, so this is going to be sketchy at best. I will be returning to look at it some time this summer, but as it is about 4 hours away, i would like to have what i need when i go there. I'm just hoping someone will recognize the problem.

The monitor is a Sanyo ez20
Game comes on, and plays blind. As soon as the machine is powered off the screen comes on nice and bright with all graphics for a split second then goes away of course.

Any ideas?

I apologize for not having any more info or description. Just hoping this sounds familiar to someone.
Thanks!

Picture on Power down

Hmm. Could this be the b+ too high? as the voltage drops but the circuit still has power drops low enough to display a picture for a second or three. Had and on and off connection caused something similar on my g07. Just a guess mind you but food for thought?? good luck with that my Sanyo almost bested me last time around.

The way you described it in the title, I had the crazy thought that someone had plugged it into a service outlet that was only one when the switch was off.

Yeah that's what I think is going on too. Capkit might get the B+ back where it needs to be and take care of the problem, it's what I'd try first (and adjust the B+ afterwards)
