the last time i saw something like that it was a broken trace.

but your issue is a little different looking than mine.

are you using an inverter board. if so try not using it and see if any change happens.

no inverter board, i never use those..i did fix some broken traces.also previous work had been done and many solder pads were burned off. every part im testing comes back as good..

well it is something that is for sure.

you may have to check more traces and parts than you think.

when one of theses chassis cracks it spreads pretty good and you have to look real hard and test allot of things to find it.

same thing has happened to me several times on Sanyo's and 4900's that were cracked and you could not see it.

well i swapped tubes just to be sure and still same thing. h-hold and v-hold adjust does slow the and stop the rolling but the pic is still vey distorted.like trash(noise) not being filtered.there was a cap kit done on it before it arrived, im wondering if i should recap.

if the bipolar caps are original they need to be replaced.

you need to check all the work that was done to it for any mistakes or bridged solder joints.

look to see if all the cap values are correct and in the correct way.

ive already have done all the obvious..all the caps were changed. all values are correct and in the correct spot. im just wondering if a cap might be bad.i have fixed many of these but have never seen this issue.

then you have a new problem that needs an answer to.

not all repairs are easy.

i have had to rewire chassis that were modded or put together wrong by the previous owner or tech.

my bet it is a broken trace or lifted pad.

ok, some probs appears to be solved.. it seems the h-center pot was causing one of the probs.i still have to change the filter cap ,so i will give a final update soon.
