My friend asked me to look at his sanyo 14 in his mini donkey kong. I have not seen much info on these monitors, anyone have the manual and are they similar to the ez20 as far as replacment parts?

if you do a cap kit on make sure you replace the bipolar caps or you may have synk problems.

if you make or get a cap list i can put a kit together for it.

just remember the basics re-flow the neck board input headers, yoke, degauss pins and the transistors on the chassis as well.

i have done one or two they are a pain to take apart but otherwise there not hard to do.

He has a curl and wave on the monitor so I will do a cap kit. With bi polars and filter cap. Quess I will start there, are flybacks and ic's avaible for these little beasts?

I rebuilt one in my DK cocktail and the Sanyo ez flyback works. The capkit is the same except for a couple caps.

unless the fly's are the same as their 19" cousins not that i know of.
and for the ic's they may or may not be but i dont think they will be bad.
