Sanyo EZ can't get B+ off 138V...

I feel dumb for posting this. I know there have been a dozen threads along this line over the last year.

But doggone it, I've got an EZ that won't get off 138V for B+. I've tried new IC601, Q901, and checked every component (including VR601) and trace in the 600s. I've tested the flyback using a ring tester...seems good.

Adjusting VR601 (or any of the pots on the entire chassis) has no effect whatsoever.

What next? Looking at the schematic, I don't see what else could be the problem? What am I missing?

Have you checked the H.O.T. ?

I've even seen them go just out of tolerance enough to cause that even if they aren't shorted.
