Hey all, I understand this is probably the 7 billionth question about this type of monitor ...

I completely recapped a Sanyo 20EZ and reflowed the solder on several cold solder joints to take care of several issues with this thing .. I didn't realize until I put it all back that I had a slight color issue w/it, was wondering if anyone can point me to an easy fix from experience.

The monitor works great, but every once in a while darkens (like someone turned up the tint button on a tv) and then goes back to normal.

Any ideas?

As always, thanks in advance!

Watch when it does it and see if it's just 1 color dropping out. Sometimes like a green will dissapoear or turn down because of a bad pot, and it makes the whole screen darker since green gives you so much of your brightness in the images.

That's a very good point .. I'll see about replacing the three transistors on the neck board this afternoon

Replaced the transistors on the neck board ... helped, but not 100% fixed yet. The red intermittently will saturate the screen and go back to normal, it seemed to be the other way around before. Not that big of a deal, but somewhat annoying. Any other suggestions?

Oh duh, that's where my brain went I guess, seems like a failing transistor would have been a good start. I'll see about replacing the pot and post the result
