ideas? I have a sanyo 20ez. very clean chassis but has vertical collapse. tested tube using another chassis and it works fine. I made sure the test mode switch works and is in the normal position. tested the b+ voltage and is great. changed the vertical pot. did a full cap kit including the big filter cap. replaced all three vertical transistors. replaced the big IC chip. Used my magnifying glass to inspect for any obvious cracks in traces or bad pads. the vertical line is still nice and solid. rather than remove and test every component, maybe you guys have some suggestions of trouble spots to look for. thanks

Which vertical pot did you replace? I had vertical collapse in a 20ez chassis from a broken vertical hold pot. I actually knew it was bad but thought it would only affect sync so I left it until I figured out the collapse. Finally out of desperation after checking everything else I put a 50K pot in there since I didn't have a 200K on hand and it fixed the collapse.

Did you follow the 20EZ flow chart. There is a service switch in the middle of the chassis. Could be that...
